Featured in iW Magazine's "A Word from the Collector"

I am delighted to see a few of my own photos and story submission in iW Magazine's recent story, "A Word from the Collector".  As part of iW Magazine's Year of the Collector, this article features the stories of fellow watch collectors in the Los Angeles area (including several from our very own #LAWatchGang group).

And yes, that is my cute daughter @babyofawis drooling over Bell & Ross watches at the "Exclusive Unveiling of the B-Rocket" with Bell & Ross event earlier this year.

Here's the excerpt from the article with my story...

“My passion for watches began in 2007 after buying my first Panerai, a PAM 164. The beauty and uniqueness of the crown guard is what originally attracted me to the brand. It was also around that time that I started to become active on watch forums. I have not stopped checking the watch forums ever since. Unlike other hobbies I have enjoyed and moved on from in the past, I believe that this is one passion that will stay with me till the end.

I am constantly trying to build a collection that is classic, interesting and diverse. Though I feel quite satisfied with my current stable, it is a quest that never ends. Brands I currently own in no particular order are Rolex, Audemars Piguet, IWC, Bell & Ross, Panerai, Chanel, Cartier, Maurice Lacroix, Chopard, Zenith, TAG Heuer, Casio G-Shock, Seiko and TechnoMarine. I would love to add other brands such as Urwerk, HYT and Richard Mille to my collection someday.”
